The mission of Free Dog Trainers is to provide access to education and support from skilled dog professionals to everyone. That means first step of becoming a Free Dog Trainer is education, and we've got you covered in that department.

Free Dog Trainers has all trainers go through an accredited apprenticeship program, administrated by our friends at Animal Welfare United. The apprenticeship model means that, over the course of 2 years, all of our trainers receive on-the-job training as well as virtual classroom time, one-on-one support, and in-person intensive training from our team of experts in the field.

The apprenticeship model means that you get paid for the work you do with the people and dogs of your community while you learn.

Being a Free Dog Trainer isn't just about working with dogs. It's about nurturing the people and pets of your community. You'll be an integral part of supporting the safety, success, and well-being of the people and pets in your community.
