Founder of Free Dog Trainers, Devan Amundsen, is one of the speakers at this year's Pet Care Expo. (It's his third year in a row being selected to speak!) He's bringing two members of our board of directors with him specifically to talk to granting agencies and potential partners from around the country.
Supporting us getting to Expo is one of the biggest ways we hope to get one step closer to hiring a team of trainers and staff, expanding our availability, and maximizing the impact we can have on our community and on communities around the country.
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, we rely on your donations to keep the lights on. Donations sent via PayPal go to our general fund. That means we get to spend it on the necessities: Insurance, state and federal fees, business cards, website and email hosting, flyers, gas to get to our clients, office supplies, and one day we hope to have a physical address. These donations are critical to supporting the day-to-day work that we do.
One of our big goals for Summer of 2025 is to hold some group classes, bringing in other expert trainers to focus on specialty training like scent detection, therapy dogs, etc. To do that successfully, we're going to have to be able to cover basic costs!
Of course we've gotta have merch. If you're the type who loves talking about Free Dog Trainers, our apparel is a great conversation starter.
If you're an artist who wants to donate some art for future apparel, we'd LOVE to collaborate. We'll even send you a free piece of merch as a thank you!
