The AKC Canine Good Citizen test is best conducted somewhere that meets the following criteria:
Busy location with "several" people. To pass the test, the dog needs to not jump up on people, bark, or otherwise cause a disturbance.
Somewhere with distractions. This can be people using mobility devices, people moving quickly, or moving something big around the dog. The dog cannot panic or otherwise "cause a scene."Â
If this sounds like your business, we'd love to schedule a visit!
We can make it a regular small event like, "Canine Good Citizen testing for up to 5 dogs every Wednesday evening," or make it a one-time event!
Donations from Canine Good Citizen testing supports the work that Free Dog Trainers does in our community.
